Somatic awareness helps us catch these early and respond kindly. A soft hand to the chest, a slow blink, a micro‑pause before you speak—small gestures that tell the body it doesn’t need to brace.

Once stability grows, we introduce EMDR’s bilateral stimulation. Together we approach the moments and beliefs that keep you ‘on’: the time you were punished for slowing down, the message that rest must be earned, the silent rule that being needed means saying yes. Processing is done in careful rounds with frequent pauses and consent at the centre. Your system learns that it can move through activation and return to safety without collapse.


Change sticks when life supports it. We create tiny rituals you’ll actually use: a commute reset that marks the end of the workday, a thirty‑second check‑in after meetings, a two‑minute wind‑down that signals ‘it’s safe to rest now’. Clients usually report clearer thinking in the afternoon, kinder pacing at home and sleep that arrives without a fight.
